I had the day off work so I took my new tripod down to a local park to give it a little trial. There was too much haze from the Canadian wildfire smoke to get many good pictures, but I was happy to find the tripod worked well and seems to finally be what I’ve been searching for all these years.
I’m still fine-tuning the logistics of carrying the “big” camera bag plus tripod, it makes a heavy load but thanks to the mirrorless system it is still a lot lighter than my old dSLR!
The new tripod is a Punks Corey 2.0 from 3 Legged Thing, used with a 3LT Ellie Short quick-release L-bracket
