As I’m settling into a new routine in my new town, I’ve started exploring more places on my long Friday lunch breaks. My favorite is the Point Wilson Lighthouse and beach at the north end of Fort Worden State Park, which is always an interesting and refreshing walk no matter what the weather is like.

Recently I was able to head over on an afternoon just as the previous night’s storm was giving way to sunshine, which meant some dramatic cloudy skies as a backdrop for the lighthouse and beach.
