Over the weekend I had a chance to take a small road trip to one of my old favorite photo locations, a small group of ponds located near Lake Easton in Easton, Washington. My ultimate goal was an old wooden bridge I remembered, but I was sad to find it had washed away in a storm since my last visit. There were still plenty of scenic photography opportinities, though, and it was a beautiful morning to just wander slowly and enjoy the peace of nature.

The biggest pond with a still, cool reflection of the trees and sky:

The path along the pond was lined with trees bright with spring leaves, and a lovely view:
